Receiving kindness you don't deserve. Let's face it, we all make mistakes, lots of mistakes ...everyday. It is simple, How could you live your life with someone pointing the finger at all the wrong you do and telling you to " get with the program." You would be miserable but that is exactly what we think parenting is supposed to be sometimes. Guess what ? There is another side to it. It is called Grace~giving kindness, giving love and acceptance in the darkest places, in the biggest blunders of life. We all have them and our children will and do have them too. Whether they are two or twenty-two, or eighty-two , they are going to make mistakes, why? because that is how we learn. If a child falls while learning to walk, we cheer them on. How about a teenage who spends all their money on clothes and can't pay a bill they are responsible for? These are the lessons in life that can help them move forward and grow. We need to be the fan club that is cheering them on giving the message that we accept them as they are and we are for them not against them. That is Grace and it is a beautiful song to sing.
